AMERICAN REGION: FROM JAMAICA

REPORT FROM DDL JAMAICA: As the country continues to observe the lockdown, price of things escalates and this make life miserable and unbearable especially for the less privileged of our society. Hence there is an out cry of such people for palliative assistance. As God would want it and in the spirit of Divine Love, the Daughters of Divine Love Develpoment Office in Chicago under the able leadership of Sr. MaryPaul Asoegwu sent some funds to us to help alleviate the material needs of the less privileged. With the funds the Sisters in Jamaica were able to provide food stuff and toiletries to them. Some students received financial support to help them buy laptop in aid to their online classes. It will interest you to know that from the same fund, the Sisters assisted a cancer patient to undergo chemotherapy. We really thank the Development Office and our generous donors for helping us put smiles on people's faces. We hope to continue with the palliative assistance as long as this monster COVID-19 lasts. Hopefully, it will end soon by the help of God. God bless us all. Reported by Doris Osondu, DDL Jamaica.

Pictures of Sr. Doris and other Sisters in Jamaica below giving palliatives to the less privileged.
